Andrew Burton

Andrew trained at the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine where the strengths of Traditional Chinese Medicine are combined with 5 Element constitutional Acupuncture. This approach seeks to understand the nature of a patient’s illness and, just as importantly, the nature of the person experiencing the illness. His clinical training in particular was under the supervision of Peter Mole, one of the leading names in UK acupuncture.

Andrew has also trained in Tui na (Chinese medical massage) with Sarah Pritchard (author of several books on Tui na massage and one of the first Westerners to practice Tui na). After a year of rigorous training he was awarded a first class pass mark.

Additionally Andrew is a qualified reflexologist.

Chinese Medicine has always understood the tremendous importance of the inner development of the acupuncturist/practitioner and how this can play an enormous part in successful healing. With this in mind Andrew is able to draw upon 25 years Buddhist meditation training.

He is a full member of the British Acupuncture Council and Association of Reflexologists.
